FALL HOMECOMING WEEKEND
Homecoming is a tradition in the U.S. recognized by many universities. The name "homecoming" is so named as the alumni "come home" to visit their college again. This homecoming event is typically a feature of the football season. Temple celebrates Homecoming in the fall semester each year around October and features a variety of fun activities that celebrate Temple pride (school spirit) for students and alumni. The week culminates with a big weekend celebration featuring a Temple Owls football game at Lincoln Financial Stadium and tailgating events (social gathering traditionally held in the parking lot of the stadium before the football game) with food, games, music and giveaways.
The office of ISA participates in Homecoming weekend with fun activities where Temple’s alumni and students get together to reconnect and continue on Temple's spirit. Homecoming is a great way for international students to experience an American tradition and to build a strong bond with your campus and Temple community. It is also a great time for ISA to show off the culture of some of our international students to the broader Temple alumni and fan base.
