Super Mega Global Week Kickoff
Monday, October 17th from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Bell Tower
Join us at the Bell Tower to kick off our first ever Super Mega Global Week! Learn about the week’s upcoming events as we celebrate the diversity and reach of Temple’s global community. Win fun prizes by testing your knowledge of trivia from around the world mixed with historic Study Abroad Week and #YAWH Week questions. Learn about study abroad opportunities available to you and enjoy yummy treats!

Temple Lingo
Monday, October 17th from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Howard Gittis Student Center Underground
Join us for the 6th annual Temple Lingo! Idioms are common in all languages, but while some may make a lot of sense, some get lost in translation. This year, we will explore quirky idioms and how to meaningfully connect with speakers of other languages and cultures around the world. Participants will be immersed in a variety of different languages using fun and interactive short learning lessons, and have a chance to win exciting prizes.
International Coffee Hour: Sustainability
Tuesday, October 18th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Howard Gittis Student Center Room 200
Come join us for this month’s International Coffee Hour, where we won’t just be celebrating one country, but one topic: sustainability efforts from various cultures all over the world. Learn about how diverse groups of people approach the task of protecting our shared planet differently through lightning sessions on four topics: zero waste, energy, food and water, and transportation. Enjoy snacks and refreshments while learning practical sustainability practices.
Tai Chi
Tuesday, October 18th from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Mazur/Gladfelter Hall Patio
Widely known for its benefits to health, wellness and stress reduction, Tai Chi began as a martial art focused on cultivating energy with natural movement. This class will present basic, short-form breathing exercises and meditations, and applications for self defense.

Study Abroad Fair
Wednesday, October 19th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tuttleman Lobby
Where in the world will Temple take you? Join us for the Fall 2022 Study Abroad Fair to explore study abroad programs around the world for the academic year, semester and summer. You'll have the chance to talk with returned students, staff, faculty and representatives from our External and Exchange Programs. You can also find out about a variety of internships abroad and scholarships available to Temple students.

Join us as we close out our first Super Mega Global Week with the biggest international event of the year! Attendees at this year’s gala can enjoy FREE food, cultural performances by Temple students as well as tables representing Temple international campus groups, all designed to celebrate our global diversity!
